Athena representative will speak about Research and technological developments in the Homeland Security Framework Programme of the European Union (FP7) - Display work plan in the coming year.

The event will take place at the Israel trade fair center in Tel Aviv at 30^th of Jun 2010. This event is part of "security Israel" trade show.

Athena, together with its main shareholder, MER Systems, are sponsoring the Israel "Safe City" Conference, which will take place in Tel Aviv, at the David Intercontinental Hotel, on November 30 - 1 December.

In the conference, visitors and guests will have the opportunity to view rthe entire range of solutions and products the MER Group has to offer to "Safe City" projects.

Athena's Ciaman, Mr. Shabtai Shavit, will honor the event and will present his views on the subject during the main panel.

The 4th International Aviation Security Technology Symposium (the premier U.S. government forum specific to advancing aviation security technology, policy, and procedures) will be hekd this year in Washington. The Symposium is held once every five years and is conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Directorate for Science & Technology and the Transportation Security administration.

Omer Laviv (Athena GS3 C.O.O.) will speak in the "Emerging Technologies" session, regarding the innovations of the SAFEE (Security of Aircraft in the Future European Environment) project. Some of the topics that will be reviewd are Emergency Avoidance System, Flight Survivability, Prohibited Sensitive Areas database, Threat Assessment and ResponseManagement System.

Athena GS3 C.O.O., Mr. Omer Laviv, will present (together with Giuseppe Ferrero and Antonio Ametta form Galileo Avionica, Italy) the achievments so far in the development of a Prohibited Sensitive Areas Data Base for in flight security applications.

Omer Laviv and Daniel Shumer (Athena GS3 C.O.O. and Training and Development Manager, respectively) will participate in the "Threat Assessment as a Tool in Counter-Terrorism" workshop, on September 13, 2006, 09:30 - 12:30. They will present thier inovative methodology for risk assessment " RAP " (Risk Assessment Process").

Omer Laviv, Athena GS3 Chief Operations Officer, will speak about latest technological advancements in airports' perimeter security, including surviellance systems and biometric identifications, on June 13, 16:40.
