ATHENA has developed specialized programs for both corporate and public “First Responders” – those who must take action in time of crisis. ATHENA GS3's "First Responders" methodologies blend ATHENA GS3's entire array of human, technological, and intelligence gathering expertise to train public and private personnel in advanced security, area lockdowns, establishing command and control centers, emergency medical protocols, and effective coordination of efforts from state, federal and local law enforcement authorities. To this end, ATHENA uses proprietary methods to recruit and vet security personnel and train them in the proper technologies that will conserve time and save lives. ATHENA GS3's intelligence gathering facilities work in concert with public authorities and corporate executives to assure preparedness for any contingency and, in a worst-case scenario, indicate whether multiple incidents may occur.
ATHENA has implemented its "first responders" programs with great success with municipal government police forces, including methods in intelligence, counter terrorism, crime prevention and crisis communication. ATHENA has also helped a Latin American nation establish and train an anti-kidnapping Special Forces unit, and provided personal security training programs for corporations with personnel stationed and traveling overseas.
